Samantha Ybarra

Samantha Ybarra completed her undergraduate degree at Texas A&M University. During her time there, she interned for Voices for Children, a nonprofit child advocacy organization. Samantha always dreamed of becoming an attorney to advocate for others, but it was her early experience in child advocacy that made her realize her interest in family law.

Samantha went on to attend South Texas College of Law in Houston, Texas. While attending law school, she also interned at the Harris County District Attorney’s office. Upon graduation, she worked through several different legal practices, but continually found herself gravitating towards family law. Prior to joining Barrows Firm, Samantha worked as an associate family law attorney and handled various types of family law cases, including divorce, SAPCR, enforcement, modification, Office of the Attorney General cases, and CPS investigations.

Bilingual in English and Spanish, and certified in mediation and as a sexual assault advocate, Samantha is eager to utilize her skills to be a keen and compassionate advocate for her clients at Barrows Firm.  She is a member of the Dallas County Bar Association, Tarrant County Bar Association, Tarrant County Family Law Bar Association, and the State Bar of Texas.

Outside of work, Samantha is a member of the Grapevine Sailing Club, enjoys crime documentaries and spending time with her family and dogs.
