Erin Healey

Erin Healey has loved the courtroom since she competed in her first mock trial competition in the seventh grade. Her interest in law was solidified in college and she made the decision to attend law school. Upon graduating from the University of Texas at Dallas with a bachelor’s degree in government and politics, Erin attended Texas Wesleyan University School of Law.

Erin began her legal career as an assistant district attorney and prosecuted criminal cases on both the trial and appellate levels. Erin also represented the State of Texas in juvenile and CPS appeals, mental health hearings, and misuse of identity expunctions. She has worked for both Dallas and Denton counties. After leaving the district attorney’s office, Erin established a solo private law practice and began working in family law matters, in addition to criminal defense and appeals.

Having stepped away from the legal profession for a time to raise her family, Erin in excited to once again focus on family law and assist clients at Barrows Firm.

“I love practicing family law because I get to help people through some of their toughest times. My goal is to do so with integrity, empathy and compassion while remaining a zealous advocate for clients.”

Erin is a member of the Tarrant County Bar Association, Tarrant County Family Law Bar Association, and the State Bar of Texas.
