My practice focuses primarily on criminal defense and juvenile law.

I'd been interested in the criminal justice system since the start of college. And after a couple of years working through many different law disciplines, I found that criminal defense and juvenile law were the best fit for me.

While at Sam Houston, I started my undergrad course work in Criminal Justice. I really enjoyed the challenges associated with the courses. I even did some intern work at a Criminal Defense firm and it's actually what got me interested in attending law school.

I practice Juvenile law because I really enjoy working with and for the kids. Providing a voice for those who might not otherwise be heard is important to me. I support projects and organizations that provide a significant positive influence on the lives of kids, including Legal Aid of Texas and CASA.
